Selling the team-up with Calus on a grand scale may be detrimental, but sending our guardian would make the missions more covert. With conversations between our Guardian/Ghost, Mara Sov, Petra Venj, and the information being sent back to the Vanguard, and more information yet to be given during our Throne visits, Zavala and Ikora may be convinced that the help is needed for the impending fight. Recently we have seen Zavala bounce back and forth from keeping secrets, to protecting only his home, all while consequences of these choices have begun to build up.
